You know you are living the life when your bathtub is no less lavish than the rest of your home. After all, it is a place of sanctuary for many, when you can soak in the paradise of bath bombs and sensual aromas. For the Queen of bathtubs made entirely of rock crystal, look no further than Palm Jumeriah, Dubai, home to one of the world’s most opulent neighbourhoods.
Made entirely of rock crystal, the $1 million bathtub is part of the “Jewels for the Home” collection by Italian specialist Baldi. Hand carved to perfection in the Middle East, the bathtub was assembled from great slabs of Amzonian rock crystal from Brazil.

Titled ‘XXII Carat’, the villas are slated to be due by the end of this year. The special Amzonian rock crystal bathtub will only be featured in selected villas, however. Socialite Tamara Ecclestone recently bought the design for a record $1,000,000.
The villas from the XXII Carat resort, located on the West Crescent of the Palm, will have bath designs are to feature rose quartz and green quartz, with a finishing of gold and gemstone trimmings. The target audience for this cluster of villas are of ultra-high net worth, given its particularly affluent neighbourhood which includes One and Only the Palm Hotel. Built by the Russia-based The Forum Group, the properties are being listed for prices between $11 million and $24.7 million. Over 40 percent of the development has already been sold, which is said to boast a 360 degree vista of the stunning Dubai Marina Skyline, with luxury amenities and services including valet parking, security and a 24-hour concierge.
