The Floating Seahorse Is An Architectural Triumph

Dubai brings to mind great deserts and exotic camel rides, thrilling 4WDs and a thriving world-class arena filled with gorgeous skyscrapers and stunning landmarks. It is famous for its ultra lavish landmarks and projects which epitomize the essence of luxury, such as their recent plans for 1/JBR and the Pearl of Dubai, which will be the world’s largest underwater theme park. But they are not stopping at that.

The Floating Seahorse by Kleindienst group is one such project that suggests they’re only headed skywards, although this particular one is a little below sea level. You read that right – the Floating Seahorse is a half-submerged work of art and does vaguely resemble a seahorse (it helps to have a particularly imaginative mind). The futuristic home was not designed to resemble a seahorse, however. Instead, the Floating Seahorse is a pledge of sorts to the protection of sea life in the Persian Gulf.

“We will create an artificial coral reef beneath the luxury retreats which will be a protected area in which seahorses can safely live and breed,” said the company in a statement to the press.

Whatever the case, the Floating Seahorse is still a gorgeous work of art and is sure to be a home of exceptional lavishness. At a casual glance, the Floating Seahorse appears to be just another luxury house by the sea, done with a modern architectural style – clean lines, a minimalist vibe and full length windows. Nothing out of the ordinary, except for an extra touch of luxury. But another floor lies underneath the surface, turning the whole aqua RV experience into an aquarium-like experience, with an endless view of the underwater world. The revolutionary project is said to be the first of its kind. The stunning luxury marine style retreat takes the whole RV experience underwater – and in great style too, if you ask us. The project will employ high quality marine approved materials and technology for the ultimate underwater experience.
